About Sande Gene
Sande Gene, of MyCarolAnne is owner and has lived in Arizona for a number of years. Sande Gene designs and creates unique hand-crafted, eclectic patterns in jewelry for pendants, necklaces, and earrings. Her pieces are not just completed, but are also finished. The ends are rounded off and filed smooth. Scratches are smoothed off and each piece is polished ready for wear. Wire and natural materials, as well as found items along with all styles of beads are used for her hand-crafted pieces. She believes life is growing and learning, lots and lots of learning. She also finds great joy in instructing others in all of the techniques she has learned and keeps on learning. Her classes are enjoyed by all of her students.
The web site MyCarolAnne is about and named after two of our daughters whom are deceased. Our complete family consists of three daughters, two son-in-laws, five grand-children, five great-grand-children and many extended in-laws. This makes up a very complete family.
To be a caregiver to our second daughter before she passed, I retired. Our first daughter passed due to an auto accident. Thus the name MyCarolAnne. They were My daughters, Carol and Anne and they are very much missed.
This web site has been a dream for many years. As a child, I played around with beading and making jewelry. Earrings were collected like candy. At one time I had over 300 pairs of earrings.
One day I saw a gentleman doing Wire Wrap and I was hooked. He ask if I would like to learn and I gave an emphatic YES. His training was a three day, eight hour each day course with his approval by the end of day three. Well, he gave his approval and I have been in love with WIRE ever since. My love is with wire combining natural stones, and wire with beads, and just plain wire all by itself. Round wire, square wire, sculptured wire and all of the sizes and shapes it comes in. Wire is amazing. A very long learning process began and I am still learning.
